Highlands Intermediate Robotics

The 2019 East Oahu Tournament was held on August 16th 2019 at Sacred Hearts. Nineteen teams entered to try and qualify to the State Championship. Our team, 394A Highlands Intermediate won 2 out of 6 of the qualifying matches and was selected by Team 4442X Navigator Robotics. We ranked 6th in Skills. Together we made it all the way to the finals where we faced off against both Pearl City teams. It was a suspenseful match with cubes being stacked and towers being scored. In the end, the score was 57-70 with Pearl City coming out on top, which qualified them for States. Many awards were handed out, with Lancer Robotics winning the Excellence Award to qualify for States. The tournament was fun and we were able to experience the finals.
