Highlands Intermediate Robotics

The 2019 Pan Pacific VEX EDR Championship took place at Waialua High and Intermediate Gym on November 8th and 9th. Thirty-eight teams from the islands and even the mainland came over to compete for one of four slots to the 2020 VEX Worlds Championship. This was a signature event with slots to the world Championship.

 

Team 394B Highlands Intermediate ranked 22nd, winning 3 out of their 7 matches and was allianced with 5968A Cougar Tech. However, they lost in the round of 16. Team 394A Highlands Intermediate won 2 out of 5 matches and allianced with 6193Z Roosevelt High School. This alliance was able to make it all the way to the semifinals before being eliminated. In the end, 4142A Pearl City High School and 4442X Navigator Robotics  were the Tournament Champions. Team 4142A and 38501A Titans won the Excellence Award.
